The Palpatine/Sidious two-pack was excellent and this new Emperor figure also looks very impressive - I guess they are running out of Sith Lords to cover but I think I would have quite liked a Darth Tyrannus before seeing the Emperor released. The throne looks very good as well but I'm not sure that it is worth $140 - have I got it wrong or does the $140 for a 1:6 scale "environment" actually mean that much moola for a plastic chair?!! Seems a bit steep but no doubt I'll give in eventually and go for the throne as well - I know, I'm a complete sucker................

Just got the exclusive ordered I also ordered the regular version of the Coruscant Clone from FP today. The only figures I'm missing now are Piett and Lando since I am getting Han in Carbonite fro Christmas, and I finally decided to get the AOTC Clone when I ordered the 3rd version of the Sandtrooper the other week.

The throne is probably made from polystone rather than plastic hence the price tag. I wish they would make it from plastic and sell it for less. Oh and Count Dooku will not be too far off in the 12" line by all accounts.

Don't worry Gree there are plenty of other Sith to do Bane, Talon, Krayt, Caedus, Plagueis, to name but a few, plus more versions of Vader and Sidious.

I'm really looking forward to all the SS offerings to come in 2010 - PF Dooku and Talon, 12" Thrawn & chair, CW Anakin & Rota, Emperor & throne, and the 1:1 Darth Vader bust being the highlight of it all.

Missed the pre-order but have the exclusive on wait list. Have to say that so far, I have had every one of my wait list reservations converted to orders - so I'm hoping that I should get an exclusive Emperor. Will do the usual and pick up a regular one from FP when it arrives. As predicted, I couldn't resist - and since you advised that the throne is probably polystone, I ordered the throne as well. Just for good measure, I ordered the exclusive coruscant clone too. With the clones, I guess Sideshow can milk that mould for a very long time given the various different clone corps - (A Commander Gree would be nice!) I'm thinking about the AOTC clone as well - kicking myself as I didn't order a Medicom Clone Captain from Play when it was reduced to £59.99 a few weeks back - when I decided that I did want one, they had all gone! - now they are well over £100 on ebay!

I know what you are saying about there being other expanded universe sith lords out there - Darth Talon would be cool- but there aren't really any other sith lords from the movies - other than the various Vader incarnations that Sideshow will undoubtedly cash in on. But if they get the helmet right next time, I'm in!

I haven't gotten into the premium format stuff yet but I was thinking of stopping with the Hasbro stuff now as I have no more room for it - my clone army has gone into storage so that I can display more one-sixth scale stuff - so I may start with it next year (finances allowing!)

The PF's are fantastic and worth having in your collection if you can afford them. Mine, like 99% of my collection, are boxed up due to lack of space. I am strictly a Sith collector in the PF line and so far I've got:

ANH Darth Vader
Darth Maul
ROTS Anakin (exclusive version with Sith eyes head)
Asajj Ventress
Count Dooku (on order)
Darth Talon (Exclusive on order)

I really want Palpatine in this line, preferably ROTJ in his throne, but I would guess either that will be a long way off due to the 12" version, or the Senate Duel version is the one they will go with.

The 1:1 busts are on another level all togther and I have:

Emperor Plapatine
Darth Vader (Exclusive version on order)

I really hope they make Dooku at some point
