Time to pick up some cool 3D glasses...
After his March declaration that 3D film was the future and his company would be investing $30million a year into it, DreamWorks CEO Jeff Katzenberg has decided to jump the wait for new material by releasing some reasonably well known films in the mind-boggling format.
All six Star Wars films have been confirmed as being re-released in 3D, despite the costs estimated at running from $50,000 to $100,000 a minute for the conversion.
'George Lucas is excited about it,' confirmed Katzenberg.' He isn't going to put a product out, I think, that isn't anything other than first rate'.
